Care of Item

Stained glass will naturally oxidize over time. If your piece begins to dull, you can simply rub and polish it with carnauba wax. Do not use abrasive materials or ammonia glass cleaner. I also recommend that you do not use suction cups for display. If your piece contains pressed flowers, please be aware that direct sunlight will cause the flowers to fade

*Please note that your stained glass piece was made using lead. This poses very minimal risk to you and your loved ones. Once you have found it a home, wash your hands with warm, soapy water before touching or handling anything else. Please reach out directly with any other questions regarding the materials used to make your piece*

Assembling a bookend: Place the frame down so that it forms a capital L. Slide the glass into the routed interior section of the frame. Do not wiggle side to side as this may cause the glass to snap. Gently wiggle up and down as shown in the video to secure the glass snuggly into the frame. Please take care to wash your hands after handling.

Assembling a flower: Place the base on a flat surface and carefully screw the threaded ‘stem’ into the coupling. Be sure to only handle the brass stem when doing this and not the glass as it may snap/break.
